Indexing...
Answered
Hey, I'm German and my English is terrible. So I'm sorry if I make mistakes.
I opened a new project and my IntelliJ is always Indexing. But it takes a second, and then it indexes again. What should I do?

Please try File | Invalidate Caches | Invalidate and Restart.
Thank you very much. The problem is fixed :)
Reproduced for IDEA 2017.2.6. Invalidate works, but after a while it happens again.
Please try with the latest version from http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html.
If the issue persists, file a bug at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA with the logs attached.
This is just incredibly frustrating. I have been using PHPStorm for over 2 years now on my company's license and every now and then this indexing issue just paralyzes my work so much so that I will probably stop using it on my company's license as well. I can see the indexing issue has been reported since 2014!! and each and every version has this issue. Just searching for Indexing gives 4.5K+ results on the community.
How do I make it clear to understand that 'Invalidating Cache and Restart' is NOT the solution? on every darn post someone gives this as a solution but it simply does not work.
I am using the version 2020.1 and it still has this issue.
