"Find" button of Find in Path often grayed out

Answered

When I select a word and press CTRL+SHIFT+F, then the "Find" button of the "Find in Path" is greyed out. Only when altering anything in the dialog, the button will un-grey

This makes no sense! If I selected a word, it fills that in the dialog's "Text to find", so this is the content to search for, no need to type it.

It used to work correctly, so it is a new bug?

The version is 2017.2.6

Thanks!

P.S. if I open the "about" dialog in help to see the version number, and then switch to the web browser to type the version number in, the help dialog of intellij disappears when its window unfocuses. That is of course annoying for those who want to give detailed build numbers. Add to that that this dialog does not allow selecting the text to copypaste those build numbers the way one expects. Please consider fixing those things too?  :D

One more thing, when using "enter" to search rather than press find with the mouse, the dialog also doesn't close anymore like it used to

Please try with the latest version: http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html.

If the issue persists, file a bug at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA.

You can copy from the About dialog, there is a button for that, keyboard Copy shortcut also works, read https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-70737.
