Find panel in WebStorm and saving results
I also use PyCharm, and with that, every time I perform a "find" it adds a new tab to the find panel, so I can easily go back to previous find results. This does not seem to the the case with WebStorm, and I cannot figure out how to configure that behaviour.

This is a platform functionality, so there can't be any difference between Webstorm and Pycharm on this matter... what do you mean by find panel? is it about Find or Find in Path?
If this is about opening Find in Path results in a Find tool window, make sure that you have Open in new tab enabled:
