edit impossible after adding file

i am using intellij and doing mainly java beside some javascript/html.
i am using git on own server.

when i create a new file in my project, then i can not edit any file any more. and kbd navigation inside project tree also does not work.

i have to select a file with the mouse, copy this file and afterwards delete it and all works again!
have reported this on feedback some months ago, but no one reacted.

i can live with this, as if i select a file and with kbd do copy/past, then i can continue working. only creation of files requires me to make the above steps to continue work.

thanks for the last updates! got much more stable!
overall after eclipse since eclipse was out, i do not regret switching. productivity is really good.
