IDEA 2017.1.1 doesn't detect JDK 10

My IDEA 2017.1.1 (Build#IU-171.4073.35) works well with JDK 8. Recently I installed JDK 10 sided by side with JDK 8. I didn't change the JAVA_HOME or other environment variables. While I try to add JDK 10 from Project Structure, I am always getting error: "The selected directory is not a valid home for JDK." (screen capture attached.)

Hi. Java 10 support starts from build 2018.1.
No good news for me :( Thanks anyway.
Java 10 language level support was added in 2018.1, and there is no plans for back port: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-184706. But per https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-170124 some support for JDK10 was added in 2017.2.
