Webstorm stuck in index loop for certain files
There are certain files in which WebStorm seems to get stuck in a loop of indexing over and over again, pegging the CPU and never resolving. I have attached a CPU profile recorded while the problem was occurring.

Please try invalidating caches (File | Invalidate caches, Invalidate and restart) - does the issue persist? If yes, please provide your log folder content (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241085-Locating-IDE-log-files)
