Large memory footprint and high number of subprocesses (intellij #IU181-4445.78)

 Hello,

i have currently a very high footprint using intellij. I create only very small applications using @angular/cli and typescript. With two open instances on two projects my systems shows 5.9 GB of memory usage for both and 513 subprocesses in the task manager. In some cases this could explode until memory is exceeded (16 GB)

Ist this footprint (esp. the number of processes) normal? Projects are quite simple currently
