IntelliJ 2018.2 - constant indexing with Android module

After updating to 2018.2, when I open a project with an Android module, IntelliJ keeps indexing.  Removing the Android module from the project fixes the issue.  I have tried File|Invalidate Caches/Restart... but this did not fix the issue.  If I add the Android module back to the project, the constant indexing begins again.
