When I hit next after changing my path which is something I always do it just doesn’t advance to the next stage.

Please wait a couple of minutes, there are some known cases when system antivirus takes too much time for the scan blocking the installer.
You can also use zipped version as a workaround or install via https://www.jetbrains.com/toolbox/app/.
Waiting minutes doesn't seem to help with this.
Why would this only be an issue with this release?
Please see if it works or another machine or when you disable the antivirus.
