IDEA Ultimate 2018.2 - Import Settings with LiveTemplate fails
Answered
Import Settings copies LiveTemplates to wrong location. I had to manually copy custom group xml from ~/Library/Preferences/IntelliJIdea2018.2/templates/ to ~/Library/Preferences/IntelliJIdea2018.2/jba_config/templates/. Otherwise they wont be loaded.

Do not use `Import Settings` if you use Cloud Config plugin or Settings Repository plugin.
@Vladimir With Cloud Config you probably refer to 'IDE Settings Sync' (?) which sadly states that it does NOT transfer LiveTemplates. I disabled Settings Repository plugin, which i do not use. I cant help but 'Import Settings' appears to be the proper way to transfer LiveTemplates (i disabled other settings). But also after deactivating IDE Settings Sync it fails.
`Sync plugin` don't see manually copy config files to jba_config folder.
If you use `Import Settings` for get templates from IDE1 and want export it to sync plugin in IDE2
-you need disable sync on IDE2 and close it
-copy template files to ~/Library/Preferences/IDE2/templates/
-start IDE2 (check templates) and enable sync with mode: overwrite server files
(or during disable sync remove files from server)
