Where is the 2018.2.1 patch downloaded to?
Answered
Hi,
The CLion 2018.2 prompts to ask me to update to 2018.2.1. I click to start download the patch but it fails due to out of disk quota. I try to search where the patch file is under my home directory but could not find it.
Could you tell me where the patch is going? is it possible to configure where the downloaded patch will be put?
By the way, I am using Linux Red Hat 6.5.

OK, So I finally find where the patch file is going. Under my home dir, a hidden dir is created /home/yhzhan/.CLion2018.2. All the temporary files and patches will be put there.
So my question turns out to be "Is it possible to change the location to somewhere else?" I have very limited disk quota under /home dir. It would be better if I could configure CLion to write any temp files into somewhere else.
Hello! You can change the location of folders which are currently located in /home/yhzhan/.CLion2018.2. Please refer to the following article.
