Some keyboard shortcuts are bind to the wrong keyboard layout

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu 18.04 and PyCharm 2018.2 I have two input layouts English and Hebrew installed on my Ubuntu machine

for some strange reason some of the shortcuts like Ctrl+w and Ctrl+q are mapped to the Hebrew keyboard although i am on the English keyboard.

Only when I remove the Hebrew layout from Ubuntu the shortcuts work

Any idea?

Same for me on Oracle Linux + Gnome. When pressing Ctrl the keyboard layout changes back to the system default.

This https://stackoverflow.com/questions/26904628/intellij-shortcut-and-keyboard-layout resolves the problem shortly, but sadly it comes back after some time :/

There is a corresponding issue for it tracked here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-15858
