Keymap problem

 My cursor is not moving from left to right or right to left form its end line and beginning. As it produces error sound, i tried fixing it to different category like (Eclipse, Net Beans or even default) but no help. even if I try to select a bunch of with shift still it produces the error sound. Please need help as its very annoying.
