Cannot install Android SDK in IDEA Ultimate

Every time I try to install the Android SDK in IDEA Ultimate the SDK Setup gets stuck at the same file: android-8.1.0/android-stubs-src.jar. It downloads and installs a lot of packages, but when it comes to this specific file the setup just hangs. I've let it run for several hours, nothing happens. Even pressing "Cancel" does not abort this installation, I have to kill the application via the task manager.
I don't want to install Android Studio as I'm not willing to have two basically identically IDEs on my computer when IDEA Ultimate should suffice. It's very frustrating...

Thank you, that is exactly the problem I have. I'll try the two workarounds there.
