Not displaying packages for installation

File>settings>project>project interpreter
After here regardless of virtualenv or not. Whenever I click on the green plus. A new window pops up titled available packages showing message "nothing to show" and then another pop-up pops simultaneously and showing message "error loading package list:pypi.python.org"
What am I supposed to do to solve this problem?
