File mask option on "Find in Path" window is sticky

I once turned a file mask on on the "find in path" window. Since then, every time I change projects, the "file mask" option re-checks itself. This is incredibly annoying because I use find in path many times per day. Inevitably I have to switch tabs from the results to the settings and uncheck this setting every time I change projects.

Is there a way to unstick this feature?
