Answered

Hi Team,

I am getting Java.lang.stackoverflow error, while running a long query in Datagrip console, the query works fine when ran through AWS webconsole.in Athena

Using Mac OS High Sierra, datagrip 2018.1.4

I changed the VM options also.

# custom DataGrip VM options

-Xms2000m
-Xmx2750m
-Xss100m
-XX:PermSize=256m
-XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=240m
-XX:+UseCompressedOops
-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8
-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
-XX:SoftRefLRUPolicyMSPerMB=550
-ea
-Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false
-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true
-XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError
-XX:-OmitStackTraceInFastThrow
-Xverify:none

-XX:ErrorFile=$USER_HOME/java_error_in_datagrip_%p.log
-XX:HeapDumpPath=$USER_HOME/java_error_in_datagrip.hprof

The Query left joins around 13 tables, query is around 90 lines

here is the long query error output
