There is a way to pin multiple toolbars in the left side without stacking?
For example having `Project Files` and `Structure` visible in two columns the left side without having to use the split mode. Thanks!

Not currently possible; we are working on improving our docking system, please vote for https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-55195 and linked tickets to be notified on any progress with this feature

That's not 100% correct.
You can .. but it's not that flexible (that IDEA-55195 ticket should make it much better one day once implemented)
Right now: "Settings/Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | Appearance | Window Options" -- enable "Side-by-side layout on the left" and split tool windows will be displayed next to each other (2 columns) rather than on top of each other (2 rows)
