How to commit *and push* when closing task
Before I discovered Tasks, I used to always commit and push, which was great, because I never screwed up my environment by pulling in the results of a merge on top of my changes that hadn't been pushed. I love tasks, because they handle change list management and time tracking, but I can't figure out how to get into the "commit and push" workflow from there. Honestly, I don't understand why the push button doesn't come up *anyway* when you commit--it's pretty easy to forget to pick "commit and push" even if you're using the other workflow, and having the push button comes up lets you change your mind later and just push then without having to go through a separate set of dialogs.
That aside, is there something I'm missing about how to use this feature? I'm terrified I'll forget to push at the wrong time and screw things up royally.
