How can I save my profiles in a more convenient place?

Answered

Hi everyone!

I'm using the PyCharm 2018 paid edition (the one you get from a student license), and I quite like the feature that allows you to profile your code, to check how many times each function was called, how much time it takes, all that kind of stuff.

Is there a way to store the stats that it produces in the same directory as the project I'm currently in? I would like the option to look at the stats whenever I want, and after I close them I can't access them again because I forget which folder they were put in.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Julian,

Thank you for contacting PyCharm support.

Unfortunately you cannot change default location for that. You may create a shortcut to the folder because it is always the same for all projects.

If you would like to have such feature, please feel free to submit a feature request about it to our issue tracker using the link https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/PY and let us know if you need any help.

Kind regards,

Sergey
