Google Cloud Tools fails to install

Details turn out to be "Not loaded. The required plugin com.google.gct.login is disabled". There is an enable link next to it. Clicking on it does absolutely nothing.
As a paid full suite subscriber, I have created a support ticket #1821869 but so far no one from JetBrains has even acknowledged it.
I might be soon looking for a IDE from a company that cares a little bit more (if I could get recommendations please?)

The reason for the issue is Google cloud tools plugin stable build is not compatible with 2018.3 IDEA EAP. The solution is either to switch to nightly plugin build or use 2018.2 IDEA.
