 I purchased PhpStorm 2017 with a perpetual license, and now I'm being notified of a new update to PhpStorm 2018, but it warned me that it would expire in a given time.

In case I update to the new version, will I be able to fall back to version 2017 when I reach the expiry date?

I'm also interested to know whether is there any special price for old customers to update to new versions.

Sure, you can get any previous release at https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/PhpStorm/Previous+PhpStorm+Releases
