Memory management issue

As stated in the above forum, the memory management is quite heavy loads the processes in the Idea. Even I noticed in many machines, the idea gets struck while the feature become heavy weighted... Is there a plan to make idea light weight by any means?

Default settings should cover wide variaty of hardware configurations. So, we have to set them that way and that's why we provide possibility to configure memory options for your environment..
