"Hard Way" JavaEE

Hi,

If my IntelliJ Ultimate license expires, I can still code on an JavaEE project on the "hard way", right? Or will it block me?

I will not sell any software using the community edition, but I definitively don't have the money to pay for a Ultimate license now. So can I?
