Linux: Using Meta shortcuts work but still types letter in editor

 Hello

I'm using IDEA under Linux, using the Mac OS X 10.5+ Keymap. I have set the Meta key to my left Win key to make the shortcuts work, and all seems to be working fine (after removing conflicting Cinnamon shortcuts)

However, for shortcuts that are based on the Meta+SHIFT cobination, letters are being typed in the editor. For example:

• Meta + F works fine to do a text search

• Meta + SHIFT + F works fine to do a full text search in the entire project, but before the search dialog shows, an upper case F is typed in the editor. This doesn't happen when doing just Meta+F

I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 with Cinnamon and the latest version of Intellij IDEA as of writing this
