Struggling to get numpy installed

/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.4/bin/python3.4 /Users/Simon/Downloads/
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/Users/Simon/Downloads/", line 8, in <module>
import numpy as np
ImportError: No module named 'numpy'

Process finished with exit code 1Preferences/ Project/

This the error I see.  When I pop over to Project Interpreter and choose + to add numpy I get

DEPRECATION: --no-install, --no-download, --build, and --no-clean are deprecated. See
Downloading/unpacking numpy

Could not find any downloads that satisfy the requirement numpy
Cleaning up...

Anyone any clues as to what is wrong?

Hi Simon,

I suspect you will have the same problem if you try to install it from system terminal (outside of PyCharm) for the same interpreter?

Looks like a problem with pip or interpreter. You could try since it really looks like you use some old version of pip.
