AWS Credentials

I was following this guide for a class I am taking: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/toolkit-for-jetbrains/latest/userguide/setup-toolkit.html

Everything was going well until I was trying to add my AWS access key to the AWS Toolkit for JetBrains (specifically intelliJ)

In this guide: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/toolkit-for-jetbrains/latest/userguide/setup-credentials.html it says to simply:

1) Open one of the JetBrains IDEs.

2) Choose Edit AWS Credential file.

but for the life of me I cannot find the AWS Explorer anywhere. I have tried looking for it on the welcome screen as well as starting a new AWS project and searching for it there to no avail. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.
