The Alt Gr key in PyCharm

My PyCharm program has a bug lately. Every time I try to write a "{}" or "[]", the program does nothing. It also does not respond to other commands, such as a @ associated with the Alt Gr / Alt + Ctrl key. However, I can normally use the button itself (see above).
