split mode - version 2019.1.1

Hello,

I would like to split my terminal window and python console into metadata using the "split mode"

But I can not find this option in the version Pycharm 2019.1.1.

Anyone have any tips?

My suggest is move terminal to right panel (there is Event Log) and open both in Dock Pinned view mode.

What  do you mean by "split mode"?

I think b1oki's suggestion is correct. You can move terminal window to the right and python console to the left or vice versa.
