Find usages functional is worked weird.
Try to find footer.js usages and there are three unnecessary results. It's weird. When you try to find something like index.js (most common file name in the project), IDE finds all folders and other places like variables.

you must have enabled Search for text occurrences in find usages settings... Please open Edit > Find > Find Usages Settings... and clear the checkbox - does the issue persist?

Please can you share this new project (including its .idea folder) and your IDE settings ( File > Export Settings)?
