Changing IDE default directories in Clion.

Hi,

I'm confused about why after telling Clion to install in a non C drive it still installs IDE default directories in C drive.

My drive is an SSD and I don't want to wear it out.

Why can't everything be installed in the location of my choice.

I now have to edit the idea.properties file.

Now every time there's an update the idea.properties is overwritten and I have to start again.

There is the option to not overwrite the file but there could be additional properties added by JetBrains.

I just fail to see why this issue is still not resolved.

The line below is from the idea.properties file. 

idea.config.path=${user.home}/.CLion/config

Is it possible to print the values of ${user.home} and similar properties?
