"find in path" issue

Hello,

I've been using PyCharm CE:

PyCharm 2019.1.3 (Community Edition)
Build #PC-191.7479.30, built on May 29, 2019
macOS 10.14.5

when I mark a string in order to try and "find in path" it, the string i'm looking for, is immediately getting replaced by:

E142 E0D6 1A17 59F1 F99E 54C9 4298 E573 9210 88ED

the find in path feature is super handy and I would appreciate your assistance
