Update 2019.2.4 Causes Remote Sync Error (Indicated packet length too large)

Since I updated from PyCharm 2019.2.3 to 2019.2.4 I cannot upload or synch my remote files anymore.
The error I now get whenever I try to upload files to my remote server is "Upload to jakob@xx.xx.xx.xx:23322 failed: could not resolve file "sftp://xx.xx.xx.xx:23322/". (Indicated packet length 1097295214 too large)".

This error NEVER occured in any previous versions and none of our server settings have changed, indicating that the error must lie in the update to PyCharm.
Has anyone else experienced issues with remote servers and sync since the update?
