UI not responding frame time to time

I am using 2019.2 Clion on MacBook. Twice every minute UI becomes not responding while the system has plenty of CPU and memory resources and all other application runs smoothly. The project I am working on has 20 files and shouldn't cause a big load. Any suggestion? thanks.

Please update CLion to the latest version - 2019.3.2. If the freezes continue to happen in the latest version, please send all threadDump* folders from ~/Library/Logs/CLion2019.3 to clion-support at jetbrains.com.
