Why Tools -> Tasks configuration is only for a current project?

I found recently a connection with Jira quite handy/usable. List all of your currently assigned tasks, start working on them, new changelist, pre-generated branch name pattern and commit message...all good. But there is one thing I can't understand. Why all of these settings are just for a current project and not global? I have almost 60 microservices separated by business domains, so I use several IDEA instances for each domain (projects from IDEA's perspective). So I configured Tasks in one instance, opened another instance for a different part of our system and settings are gone. And Tasks are NOT part of File -> Other settings -> Settings for New Projects. Is there any way to configure Tasks globally?
