How to close Pycharm when it doesn't quit or close.

I had Pycharm open and working, then I closed my computer and reopened it again and Pycharm is 100% stuck. You can't press anything and you can't close or quit it, it's just stuck. So I am wondering what I should do and it is also stopping my computer from shutting down.

Does the issue reproduce each time you close and re-open your computer? I think your best bet is to report to issue tracker (https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues) with logs and detailed steps to reproduce the issue.

Hello, 

I believe stopping the process in the Task Manager/Activity monitor will help.  Please submit a bug report  (https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues) with logs and detailed steps to reproduce the issue.

I tried one of the commenters' suggestions. To overcome this matter, enter Task Manager into the search box and then select the software that is titled after it. Then, locate and select Pycharm before clicking End Task. The Pycharm application should then be eventually closed.
