IntelliJ IDEA, JAVA files adding JAR files
I am using IntelliJ IDEA 2019.3. When I attempt to add JAR files to my project (File > Project Structure > Project Settings > Modules > Dependencies > + > JARs or directories), I run into a number of issues.
Firstly, I am unable to select more than one JAR file at once. If I CTRL + CLICK on a JAR file, it deselects the last one and selects just the new one. The same issue occurs with SHIFT + CLICK. Ordinarily, I wouldn't mind having to select every file individually, but the problem is that one of the JAR files won't add correctly if I do.

The second file won't add singularly because it states Empty Library. On all of the tutorials I watched online they seem to be able to overcome this by selecting more than one file at once (although the second file never lists in the External Libraries).
I have later tried this on Eclipse and it worked ok, but I would prefer to use IntelliJ.

I am also experiencing the same issue.

As a workaround you may try to create new library in "Project Structure | Libraries" and then add it in module dependencies.
I've been able to work around this same problem (adding Selenium jar files) by simply adding the directory that the two jar files sit in, instead of adding each jar file individually. That seems to then add both files successfully (once you apply the change) - at least, it has for me using the same Selenium version and with Intellij 2019.3.2.
