Installing Pycharm in Ubuntu 18.04 using X2Go or Xming shows a red or green page
I use X2Go (client in windows 7, server in Ubuntu 18.04) to remote to my Ubuntu.
For a fresh install, in a terminal I run:
$~/Downloads/pycharm-community-2020.1/bin/pycharm
The pycharm launches as a blank red-colored page:
I also tried using Xming to have the X server in Windows, and Putty to Forward X11. This time I get a green page:
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Just to clarify - does it work if you run PyCharm directly from the desktop session (not over X11 forwarding)?

Unfortunately I cannot test that because of the COVID-19 quarantine.
One note: The target machine is headless and has no screen.
I suggest submitting an issue to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues and attaching logs to it.
