IntelliJ Idea 2020.1 crashing randomly on Windows 10 after last upgrade

After upgrading to IntelliJ Idea 2020.1 on Windows 10 x64 I am having frequent crashes on the IDE, while editing java code. It was much more stable before the upgrade. Nothing else has changed, as far as I can tell.

I'm experiencing the same and I'm running it on Ubuntu 18.04 (Gnome). It randomly crashes while I'm editing java code, it just happened again to me right when I was moving a few lines around a method.
I am facing the same issue in my mac machine. Intellij Idea application is not opening after the latest update.
Same here using Intellij Idea Community on Windows 10. Often when building/rebuilding Dart/Flutter desktop application.

At least you have different OSs, so there might be different issues causing crashes.

I am using 2020.2 intellij idea on Windows 10. I am also experiencing almost the same issue. Pressing ctrl and move cursor over a variable cannot jump to where it is declared.

Users here report about the crash of the IDE (application closes), but, as I understand, in your case Ctrl+Click (Go To Declaration) is not working. Please create another thread. Describe the problem and share a sample project where the issue could be reproduced.
