IntelliJ IDEA "in" is keyword but "out" is modifier?

I was modifying my color scheme of fonts in IntelliJ IDEA when I noticed that both in and out are in different contexts of the IDE. I set the keywords to be slightly pink while the modifiers like "in", " override", "private" to be white. 

To my amazement "in" was painted pink, BUT the "out:" was white!

Do you have any workaround to fix this? I'll be very helpful for this.
