How to disable "CTRL + Enter = Add line after cursor"-feature

Answered

During the last weeks there were many times I was confused because I closed a curly bracket and pressed Enter 2 times but when I began typing again the cursor was in the line above the last line. Today I have figured out that because I often type very fast and have the CTRL-Key still pressed down when pressing Enter which leads to the effect that the new line is not inserted before the cursor but after the cursor instead. That feature is very undesirable in my case. Is there a way to disable it?
