PyCharm 2018.3 Linux shuts down unexpectedly
I run pycharm on linux over X to my work PC. I recently setup a new work PC at home, and now whenever I leave pycharm open and idle, or open overnight, at some point it just exits on its. This is really frustrating as I rely on my windows and workspace to be up at all times.
idea.log doesnt seem to show any errors at all, though i did find some threadDumps log which might be the cause of it. Any help on this would be highly appreciated!

First of all, please update the IDE to the latest version which is 2020.2.
Disable all custom plugins to exclude third party affection. If it still crashes, please submit a request at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/PY with logs attached.
