Can someone tell me how to TURN THIS OFF?

I have a search window of some kind that keeps popping up. I don't know what it is called. Here is an image:
I don't know what key or key combination I am pressing to cause that. It is really getting annoying. Can anyone tell me how to disable it?

I discovered the source of the problem. The window pops up on "double shift." I have one of the 2017 Mac's with the crappy keyboard issue.
