Segmentation Fault when using git within IntelliJ IDEA

Suddenly I'm receiving a Segmentation Fault when using git within the Terminal. It was working fine before.

IntelliJ IDEA 2020.2 (Ultimate Edition)
Build #IU-202.6397.94, built on July 27, 2020

I even upgraded git to the latest ( 2.28.0.windows.1).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

EDIT: Might I add when using Git within git bash it works fine, this is confined to IDEA.
