Set Settings repository as option/environment variable?
Answered
Hi,
I am working on making a common configuration for my team, using the settings repository, which works with our Gitlab, when going to the Settings menu and clicking on Merge etc like in the doc https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/sharing-your-ide-settings.html#import-export-settings
But I would like to make it transparent for my team when they launch, in my case, PyCharm.
Is there an option or an environment variable that I can set to tell PyCharm to launch with the URL for shared settings to a specific one and use it in Merge mode?
Thank you very much.

Hello @...
Thank you for sharing your use-case.
We plan to redesign the "Settings Repository" feature and we will take into account your scenario as well.
For now, regrettably, there is no option to work with the Settings repository via environment variables.
