Keystrokes randomly missing
I am using IntelliJ Ultimate 2020.1 with newest updates on my Macbook Pro 15" and sometimes keystrokes getting missed randomly. Especially when I switch between multiple project windows or even windows inside one project.
For example:
Switch from one project window to another and quickly press command+shift+O to open a file. Instead of showing the search input i just get the letter "O" written to the underlying open file. So it seems the command or shift key is not recognized.
That is very annoying and i don't know how to reproduce it since its very random. Pressing the same combination after this misbehaviour mostly works fine again.
First thought was that I didn't hit the keys correctly but even when i try to do it very careful it fails randomly. Sometimes also 3 or 4 times in a row.
This is driving me crazy, especially when you have a broken project cause files are littered with "O"s
My suggestion is, that some process that gets invoked when focussing a window again is leading to the error (something like the automatic inspection, but thats not the reason, I already tried to turn it off).
Does somebody has an idea what I can do?
I also tried to invalidate and restart without success.
It also seems not to be a macbook related keyboard issue since other programs does work perfectly
Best
