Intellij Idea crashes when choosing project location

Whenever I make a new simple Java project and come to the point where I choose where to save the project and choose project location, as soon as I choose the location and click Ok, the while program crashes. I am running the lastest update on Intellij Idea and runnning the MacOs 11 Big Sur beta. I dont know why this happens, but if I wanna import or open the project from any location, it doesnt crash. Is it because I am running a beta software? given that I am very new to IntelliJ Idea.
