IntelliJ jumping to errors while typing

I'm using IntelliJ 2020.2, and if I have errors in other classes, the editor is jumping to those errors while I'm typing in another file, which is getting really annoying, because it continues typing in the middle of a different line. How do I stop this?? I've turned off "Build, Execution, Deployment / Compiler / Automatically show first error on build" but that hasn't stopped it.

Could you please share idea.log ("Help | Show Log in...") after restarting IDE?
