Cannot Open PHP Storm
I get the following error when I try to open the PHP storm.
This didn't happen a couple of days ago. When I try to open it today this happened. So, I removed it completely and installed it again, but still, this happens.

A similar start-up error occurs with my IntelliJ IDEA as well.
Hi there,
What Antivirus/Internet Security software do you use? Some of them (ESET in particular) may cause such "suddenly stopped starting up" issues. If so: try with AV disabled. If it works -- add IDE to the whitelist/exclusions (or whatever it's called there).
same here, have tried everything still no luck. No antivirus or firewall blocking either. Was working fine yesterday, now can't get past that error screen
I suggest you use "Submit a Request" link at the top of the page to contact the Support Team with your details (java crash log/IDE log etc).
My first comment was based on this recent ticket: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-57055 -- not sure if it's your case or if it's a completely different (devs will see that from the logs).
I'm on Windows 10 using standard Windows Defender .. and it still works OK for me. Could be some update or another app (try exiting all other app, closing as many as possible from the tray as well).
Try also re-installing the IDE -- may also work (in case if installation is somehow corrupted, if you have no antivirus)
Okay, the last attempt worked. I went ahead and deleted the entire Jetbrains directory, did hard boot, and reinstalled it. So far it is working!
I don't use any antivirus software.
I reinstalled the software again, still no luck.
I am on Windows 10 by the way.
Which directory did you delete exactly negadmin?
