Updating Intellij IDE

Hi,

I'm currently on version 2020.2 of intellij. When I try to update it I do not get the 'update and restart' button. I only get 'download' which takes me to the intellij website where I can download the complete IDE.

Is there anyway to update the installation I have.

@... When I check for updates and open the update dialog, this is all that gets written to the log?

We are looking into the problem, meanwhile please download the latest build from http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html and install it manually. As an alternative please use the Toolbox app https://www.jetbrains.com/toolbox-app/
